Dance Therapy

                                    What is it?

When using dance we can release energy and stress while using the methodology of movement that allows you to connect with emotions, feelings and any past traumas. It's the psychotherapy process that promotes cognitive and physical emotional integration of the individual; allowing dance therapy to unlock deeper levels of healing.

                            Why dance?

Dance allows us to explore a unique flow of movement while discovering our selves. Everyone thinks that dance is always about perfection (looks, steps, moves, etc) but I break that structure down so there's no boundaries. 

  • Every session is specialized for each individual.

  • The idea is that motion and emotion are interconnected, creative expression can help communication skills and strengthen relationships.

  • Movement can express aspects of a personality that a licensed therapist is unable to do through verbal expression.

  • Movements can be used as a language. They communicate conscious and subconscious.

To transform a space into a dance of interaction, where people can be free and create healing relationships. Providing an experience in which every individual feels they are family, a larger whole that is vibrant and alive with a uniqueness they can then internalize.
